Early on we realized that in many companies in the plastics processing industry, potential savings remain unrecognized because they are simply unknown. Machine downtimes for color and material changes as well as cleaning processes are one of the biggest cost factors in plastics processing.

Not just since yesterday …

The company ver-rus was founded in 1998 with the target of developing a chemical cleaning concentrate that can be used with all plastics in any plastics processing operation. The aim was to find a cleaner for all plastics processing applications.

In a series of tests conducted on injection molding machines, extruders and blow molding machines, numerous chemical mixtures were examined to identify an optimal solution that would meet our requirements. This process ultimately led to the development of a cleaning concentrate carrying the same name as the company, “ver-rus”.

The result: One cleaner for all applications

The requirements became ever more demanding. Color and material changes as well as cleaning processes had to be carried out faster and faster, with less material and personnel costs. This is how the cleaning concentrates “per-tas” and “syn-tas” were created.
