Instructions

    1. Close all vent zones and remove all sieves if existing.
    2. Interrupt the material supply and run the barrel empty.
    3. Produce the purging mixture and fill it into the barrel
      • Produce the purging mixture as follows.
      • Mix 3 % of the purging concentrate to the cold raw material which is needed for the next production.
    4. Start the screw rotation till the purging mixture is coming out the nozzle. To be recognized on the foamy material structure.
    5. Stop the machine for 10 – 15 minutes. In this time the purging mixture will foam up and reach all death zones.
    6. Start screw rotation and determine the extruded material.
    7. In case the result is not satisfied please repeat the process again.
    1. All hot runner systems (valve gate systems, open nozzles, …) can be purged by using the purging agents from ver~rus.
    2. After cleaning the plastification unit produce 3-5 times the quantity of the injection weight for purging the hot runner.
    3. Inject the purging mixture into the hot runner by opened mold till it come out of the nozzles. To be recognized on the foamy material structure.
    4. Stop the machine for 10 – 15 minutes. In this time the purging mixture will foam up and reach all death zones.
    5. Dose the purging mixture and inject into the hot runner. Determine the injected material.
    6. In case the result is not satisfied please repeat the process again.
    1. Interrupt the material supply.
    2. Empty the barrel.
    3. Produce the purging mixture and fill it into the barrel.
      1. Produce the purging mixture as follows:
      2. Mix the purging concentrate from 2% up to 4 % to the cold raw material which is needed for the next production. For difficult cases use 4% and for normal purging cases use 2% concentrate.
      3. The following quantity have to be produced depending on the screw diameter:

    4. Adjust the back pressure on maximum value so that the screw does not move. The screw have to stay near the nozzle.
    5. Let the screw rotate till the purging mixture is coming out the nozzle. To be recognized on the foamy material structure.
    6. Stop the machine for 10 – 15 minutes. In this time the purging mixture will foam up reach and clean all death zones.
    7. Start screw rotation and evaluate the extruded material.
    8. In case the result is not satisfied please repeat the process again.
    9. For purging the feed section of the barrel please produce the triple amount of the maximum metering volume of purging mixture.
    10. Dose up the maximum metering path and stop the machine for 10 – 15 minutes. In this time the purging mixture will foam up and reach all death zones.
    11. Inject the purging mixture and evaluate the material.
    12. In case the result is not satisfied please repeat the process again.
